Be the care homeAI recommends.
Families do not start with a phone call any more. They ask ChatGPT which home to look at, and they arrive at your door already decided. We make sure the home it names is yours — and run the Google Ads that catch the families still searching the old way.
We'll ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for care in your area and send back what they actually said about you.

Private residential fees in the UK typically run £1,200–£1,600 a week, so a single self-funded admission is worth more than most homes spend on marketing in a year.
The shortlist is written before you hear from anyone.
These are the questions being typed into assistants right now. Whichever homes get named in the answers are the ones that get the visit.
| Buyer prompt | Engine | Who gets named | Your home |
|---|---|---|---|
| best dementia care home near Preston | ChatGPT | 2 regional groups | Not cited |
| care homes with dementia nursing in Lancashire | Perplexity | 1 directory, 1 group | Not cited |
| nursing home near me that takes complex needs | Gemini | 3 national providers | Not cited |
| best rated nursing homes in Harrogate | ChatGPT | 2 directories | Not cited |
You cannot see any of this in Google Analytics. There is no click, no referrer and no impression — just a family that either heard your name or did not.
Two ways families find you.
AI answers and Google rankings are where the shortlist gets written. Paid ads are where the ready-to-enquire families are today. Run either on its own — they compound when you run both.
Five stages. One feedback loop.
The same five stages on every engagement, whether you run one home or twelve. What comes out of them is specific to your homes and your catchments.
Ask
We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot the questions a family in your catchment actually asks, and record what comes back. Usually it names three homes. Usually one of them is yours by accident, or none of them are.
Fix the record
Assistants answer from CQC, carehome.co.uk, Google Business Profile and your own site. When those four disagree about your bed count, your specialisms or even your name, you get left out. We make them agree.
Publish
A readable page per home, per specialism and per town, plus the answers families search for at midnight — costs, funding, what to ask on a visit, how a move actually works. Written to be quotable by a machine and useful to a human.
Capture
Google Ads on the searches that mean somebody is enquiring this month, pointed at pages built to take an enquiry. Plus the unglamorous part: making sure the enquiry that arrives at 7pm on a Friday still gets answered.
Report
Monthly: what the assistants said about you and your competitors, enquiries by home, and where they came from. Tied to admissions, never to impressions.
Stage 2 is the one nobody else does, and it is usually where the biggest jump comes from. Most homes are invisible to AI for a boring reason, not a competitive one.
Published rates. See the price before you book.
Monthly retainers, three-month minimum, no setup fees. Priced so a single home can afford to start and a group gets the compounding benefit.

For context: one additional private resident at a typical UK fee is worth roughly £60,000–£83,000 a year. That is the number every one of these retainers is measured against.

Ben Martland.
I'm Ben. I run DomiSearch, a Google Partner search agency, and I built DomiCare because the care sector has a problem the rest of my clients don't: the decision is made by a stressed adult child at eleven at night, three weeks before they ever ring you. Every account here is personally reviewed by me, every month. No junior pool.
I've spent five years running Google Ads and the last two on AI search visibility. What changed for care is that the shortlist now gets written by an assistant, from CQC records and carehome.co.uk reviews, before a human ever compares two homes. If you are not in that answer, you are not in the running.
- Five years running Google Ads, £3M+ managed spend
- Google Partner
- Built the AI search practice at DomiSearch from 2024
- Care homes and care groups only — no other verticals
- Manchester-based, working across the UK
New brand. Not a new team.
DomiCare launched in 2026. The people running it have been doing this for years at DomiSearch — these are their clients, in their words. Care-sector results will be published here as they land.
“We have been working with Ben and DomiSearch for nearly 3 years. A true expert in his space. Taxd has grown a phenomenal customer base thanks to our fantastic search acquisition strategy.”

“We brought Ben in to support not just with Google Ads, but also landing pages, copy, and AEO. This helped boost conversions at every stage of the funnel - more clicks from ads and more customers converting. What we value most is his ability to provide clear insights, suggest improvements, and execute independently.”

“Ben from DomiSearch has made my life easy... Anything and I mean anything to do with google ads, this guy knows, no over complication, not focusing on 'getting you to buy' The guy tells you what works, makes it works and over delivers. Genuinely never had a better experience with anyone!”

“It's been great to work with DomiSearch. Their level of competence in ads and understanding of wider SEO keeps us coming back month after month!”

“Ben @ DomiSearch has helped my agency thrive via his work with Paid Google Search Ads bringing me in more and more high quality leads month on month. Continuing to work with DomiSearch really is a no brainer.”

Questions care operators ask us.
They ask an assistant like ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot a plain question — 'best dementia care home near Preston', 'how much does a nursing home cost in Kent', 'is this home any good'. The assistant answers by reading CQC records, carehome.co.uk listings and reviews, Google Business Profile and the home's own website, then names two or three homes. That shortlist is now often written before a family speaks to anybody.
AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation — is the work of making sure AI assistants can read, trust and quote your home when they answer a family's question. For a care home it mostly means three things: your CQC record, your carehome.co.uk listing, your Google profile and your website all say the same thing about who you are and what you do; your specialisms are stated explicitly rather than implied; and the questions families ask are answered somewhere a machine can find them.
Two things. Organic search visibility: auditing what assistants and Google currently say about your home, aligning your records across CQC, carehome.co.uk and Google, rebuilding your site so AI assistants and Google can read and quote it, publishing pages that answer real family questions, and reporting monthly on what the assistants say about you and your competitors. And paid search visibility: Google Ads campaigns built per home, per town and per specialism, aimed at private-pay enquiries and measured on enquiries and admissions rather than clicks.
Organic search visibility for a single home starts at £950 a month. The combined occupancy programme — organic plus paid search visibility, covering up to three homes — starts at £2,450 a month. Paid search visibility (Google Ads) on its own starts at £1,200 a month plus your ad spend. Groups of four or more homes are priced per home. Monthly retainers, three-month minimum, no setup fee.
Private residential fees in the UK typically run £1,200 to £1,600 a week, so one self-funded resident is worth roughly £60,000 to £83,000 a year. A single additional private admission covers a year of the entry retainer several times over. That is the whole commercial case, and it is why we report on admissions rather than impressions.
Both. Single independent homes, small groups of two to ten, and regional groups. Groups get the bigger benefit, because the record-alignment work compounds across every location and the same content framework can be applied per home and per catchment.
No. DomiCare is a marketing agency. We do not provide care, we do not place residents, and we have no affiliation with the Care Quality Commission or any other regulator. We work with what is already on the public record — we never alter or influence a rating.
DomiCare is led by Ben Martland and is the care-sector practice of DomiSearch, a Google Partner search agency based in Manchester with over £3M in managed ad spend. DomiCare works only with care homes and care groups.
